(Rochester) David Cornell, CEO of Cornell's Jewelers, has been inducted into Monroe Community College's Alumni Hall of Fame. This distinguished honor, previously awarded to only 64 alumni, recognizes the positive impact graduates have on their community.
Cornell, CEO and owner of Rochester's fine jewelry destination Cornell's Jewelers, graduated from Monroe Community College in 1973. In the time since, David has grown the business from a diamond wholesaler to the one of the top fifty jewelry retailers in the country. In 2007 Cornell's Jewelers was named favorite retail store by the New York State Jewelers Association.
